Keep in mind that you can not purchase professional camera equipment in Key West. You can purchase consumer camcorders at Sears and Radio Shack, and digital cameras at Sears, Office Max, Radio Shack, and Kmart. However none of these stores offers any sort of accessories, much less prosumer or professional equipment. Nobody rents equipment. Ritz Camera, the only actual camera store recently closed. Now photo processing available in Key West is limited to drug and grocery stores.
Note: We originally called it a portable television studio due to the site name, but as it does not contain cameras or live switching equipment, that was not really accurate. It is more like a small movie studio, so we changed that to "Movie Studio in a Box". That was easier than calling it an "Audio Video Studio in a Box". Although not Hollywood grade, completely professional videos have been produced with this system. It also goes with the new theme of the site. If you need an actual television studio in Key West, Comcast has a small one here for local programming. Key West has no television stations, only Comcast cable.
The complete GLINN Studio rents for $380 per day which includes a one man staff.
